Immerse in any kosher Mikva 3 times for each victim of this cause. On the first dip have in mind that you are removing impurity. On the second dip have in mind that you are bringing down holiness and on the 3rd dip have in mind that you are elevating the soul. Any kosher Mikva can be used for this Tikkun but no Bidieved solutions like swimming pools.

  1. Go inside the Mikva, have in mind that you are going to going to do a set of 3 immersions in merit of a victim of this cause.
  2. Do the 1st immersion and have in mind that you are removing impurity from yourself and from the soul you are doing the Tikkun for if it is needed.
  3. Do the 2nd immersion and have in mind that you are drawing holiness upon yourself and to the soul you are doing the Tikkun for if it is needed.
  4. Do the 3rd immersion and have in mind that you are doing it for the elevation of the soul that you are doing the Tikkun for.
  5. If you are planing on doing multiple sets of immersions try to take break in between each one and have in mind that you are immersing in merit of a different victims of this cause. The Tikkun HaKlali consists of the following ten Psalms said in this order: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137, and 150.[2] Each recital is preceded by a paragraph expressing one's desire to bind himself to the tzadikim of all generations, especially Rebbe Nachman, and several verses which are customarily recited before any saying of Psalms. The recital of the ten Psalms is followed by a prayer composed by Reb Noson, the Rebbe's foremost disciple, asking God for forgiveness from sin.

However in order for it to be eligible for this Tikkun you have to make sure that you understand at least the simple meaning of each word in this chapter when you recite it. You may use a translation or simple inline or side by side commentary of the words. While reciting it you have to make sure that you comprehend the meaning of each and every word. While Tehilim is a powerful TIkkun even without understanding the meaning of the words, it is for sure a much more powerful Tikkun if you do understand the meaning of the words.
